APPventure: an exciting or noteworthy event that one experiences firsthand…culminating in the chance to win an Apple iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle or iTouch!

Sophomore Year Experience Program (SYEP) invites you to travel SUNY Potsdam your sophomore year and win prizes doing it!  Sophomore students who participate in at least 6 SYEP events/activities are eligible to win MacPrizes!  Each event represents 1 chance to win an Apple product; each SYEP hosted event (*) represents 2 chances to win an Apple product. 

The more events you attend the more chances you have to win!

Attend MACFUN with your SYEP passport on November, 13th from 6- 7p.m. in the MPR and enter to win an iPad, an iPad Nano or an iPad Shuffle. Food, MACFUN and Prizes!

You can pick up your Sophomore Passport to APPventure and get your first stamp at the SYEP table, during the Student Organization and Involvement Fair on 09/04/13 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m in (and around) the Barrington Student Union. Or, you can pick it up at the Student Success Center Main Office, 128 Sisson Hall beginning on 09/05/13.

The Sophomore Year Experience Program (SYEP) has the Scoop on making your sophomore year successful.  The Student Success Center at SUNY Potsdam has developed the Sophomore Year Experience Program (SYEP) because we know that being a sophomore is challenging.  The SYEP has developed programs to help you achieve your:

  • academic and career goals
  • social goals
  • extracurricular goals
  • physical goals
  • financial goals
  • spiritual goals

Achieving these goals can:

  • enhance your education in and beyond the classroom
  • foster your independence as a learner
  • develop your role as a member of the local and world community
  • build your skills as a future professional
