Why did you choose to attend Potsdam? It's a well-regarded college with affordable tuition and it was close to home with a reputation for excellent faculty.

Who was  your favorite professor?  Tie:  David Curry and Derek Maus.

What was your favorite class?  Medieval Philosophy.

What is the most important skill you learned while at Potsdam?  Public speaking.

What is the most important thing you learned about yourself while at Potsdam?  Any situation can be made extraordinary with the application of some effort and creativity.


What advice would you give to current students attending Potsdam?  Get to know your professors.  Knowing them, and having them know you, will be the one thing that is most likely to enable you to find that academic niche which can truly hold your interest.

If you had the option to tell a prospective student one thing about Potsdam, what would it be?  The size of this school, coupled with the excellence of the faculty and friendliness of the staff, blend to make this a truly extraordinary college.

How has Potsdam helped you reach your personal and career goals?  The breadth of academic exposure that I gained at Potsdam enabled me to both gain the experience and the direction to get accepted into and succeed in law school.

What is your favorite memory or story about Potsdam?  2004-2005 Men's Basketball Team blowing out undefeated St. John Fisher in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
